- Scrape, copy, or misuse content from our platform
- Circumvent security features or access restrictions
- Use our Services for illegal purposes
- Spam users with unsolicited messages
- Post content that infringes intellectual property rights
Consequences: Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or legal action.
4. Job Seekers
Your Rights:
- Create a profile and apply for jobs
- Receive job recommendations and alerts
- Control your profile visibility settings
- Contact employers through our platform
Your Responsibilities:
- Ensure resume and application materials are truthful
- Respond professionally to employer communications
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary employer information
- Understand that we don’t guarantee job placement or interviews
Important: We are a platform connecting job seekers with employers. We are not an employment agency and do not make hiring decisions.
5. Employers and Recruiters
Your Rights:
- Post job listings and search candidate profiles
- Communicate with job seekers
- Use applicant tracking features
- Access analytics and reporting tools
Your Responsibilities:
- Post only legitimate job opportunities
- Comply with employment laws and anti-discrimination regulations
- Accurately describe job requirements and compensation
- Respect candidate privacy and data protection laws
- Pay applicable fees for premium services on time
Prohibited: Posting fake jobs, pyramid schemes, adult content, illegal activities, or jobs requiring upfront payment from candidates.
6. Content Ownership and License
Your Content:
- You retain ownership of resumes, cover letters, and materials you upload
- By posting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content for platform operation
- You represent that you have all necessary rights to the content you upload
Our Content:
- All platform features, design, code, and branding are owned by Profyd.
- You may not copy, modify, or reverse engineer our Services
- Company logos and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners
Third-Party Content:
- Job listings and employer information are provided by third parties
- We are not responsible for the accuracy of third-party content
- We reserve the right to remove any content at our discretion
7. Payments and Subscriptions
Free Services: Basic job seeker accounts are free.
Premium Services:
- Some features require paid subscriptions or one-time fees
- Prices are displayed before purchase
- Payments are processed securely through third-party providers
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled
Refund Policy:
- Premium subscriptions are generally non-refundable
- Refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis

9. Limitation of Liability
To the Maximum Extent Permitted by Law:
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months
- We are not responsible for employer actions, discrimination, or fraud
- We are not liable for data breaches caused by third parties
- We are not responsible for technical failures or lost data
Exceptions: Nothing limits our liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or gross negligence where prohibited by law.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Profyd, its affiliates, officers, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any law or third-party rights
- Content you post on our platform
- Your interactions with other users or employers
11. Third-Party Services
Our platform may integrate with or link to third-party services (LinkedIn, Google, payment processors, etc.).
Important:
- Third-party services have their own terms and privacy policies
- We are not responsible for third-party practices or content
- Your use of third-party services is at your own risk

14. Dispute Resolution

Effect of Termination:
