This role is perfect for someone with a strong mathematics background who wants to transition from teaching into academic coordination and team leadership. As a mathematics coordinator at Profyd, you will ensure the highest quality of maths education is delivered to our international students across multiple curricula.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, schedule, and coordinate the Mathematics teaching team for online and onsite classes
- Develop and standardize Mathematics curriculum materials, lesson plans, and assessments for UK, USA, Canada, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand curricula
- Conduct regular class observations and provide constructive feedback to Math teachers
- Monitor student academic performance and implement improvement strategies
- Onboard, train, and mentor newly hired Mathematics teachers
- Maintain detailed academic records and generate periodic progress reports
- Collaborate with the operations and management team to ensure smooth departmental function
- Resolve escalations related to Mathematics classes from students or parents
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field
- Prior teaching or academic coordination experience in Mathematics
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to teach and coordinate across multiple levels (GCSE, O-Level, A-Level, etc.)
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Experience with online teaching platforms is a plus
- Familiarity with international Math curricula (UK, USA, Canada, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand) is preferred
