Job Overview

Profyd is looking for a results-driven head of sales closer — a senior sales closer who is not just a dealmaker but also a team leader, strategist, and closer of complex international education sales. This senior sales closer job is designed for a high-calibre sales professional who has proven experience in closing deals with international clients and can build, manage, and inspire a sales team.

As head of sales closers at Profyd, you will lead our entire sales-closing function — from overseeing the pipeline and closing strategy to coaching junior sales closers and driving revenue growth across our international markets (UK, USA, Canada, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand).

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and mentor the sales closing team to consistently hit monthly and quarterly revenue targets
  • Close high-value deals with international clients through consultative and solution-based selling
  • Develop and refine closing scripts, objection handling frameworks, and sales playbooks
  • Monitor individual sales closer performance and provide coaching and feedback
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align lead generation with closing strategies
  • Analyze sales data, pipeline metrics, and conversion rates to optimize the sales process
  • Conduct regular sales team training sessions focused on advanced closing techniques
  • Build strong relationships with potential clients and maintain a high close rate
  • Report directly to senior management on sales performance, forecasts, and growth plans

Requirements

  • 2+ years of proven experience in a senior sales closer or sales management role
  • Demonstrated ability to close international or B2C sales deals (education industry is a plus)
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent verbal communication and persuasion skills in English
  • Experience with CRM tools and sales pipeline management
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to improve performance
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and resilient under pressure
